It was amazing to experience how international news segments are filmed, both on-the-scene and behind-the-scene. I was able to contribute to the editing, production, and filming teams and learned from countless professionals in the industry. During the internship, I interviewed experts for segments, gathered international news reports, participated in conference calls with reporters across the nation, pitched interesting stories, learned the iNews and Avid Interplay software, and coordinated makeovers for the Entertainment and Style host.  It felt great to be welcomed into and contribute to the ARV team, and I loved every day of working in the newsroom.

 

I would like to thank CHCI and Telemundo for the amazing opportunity; they are both very inspiring organizations and it was an honor and a privilege to fulfill this internship. The presentation below highlights many of my activities throughout my time at Telemundo.
